Tired of the same old 'me-too' silver or black box audio products? The Musicale preamplifiers are not 'mass manufactured' products. Each unit is custom built by hand and individually tested assuring you receive a product that will provide you with trouble free service for many years. Like any of our Musica Bella or Bella EXtreme products, the Musicale preamplifiers are custom designed and built to meet your exact needs and taste. You decide how your preamplifier will look and what features it will have. Many wood options are available. The prototype unit as seen at right has been running in our showroom for several hundred hours and impressing all those who hear it.

Design Philosophy:

The Musica Bella Musicale Extreme is a complete dual mono linestage voiced to offer a full, fast and accurate reproduction of the entire frequency range. Bass is deep, tight and authoritative. A clean, crisp yet lively midrange with an uncanny sense of air up top brings emotion back to your listening experience. The use of V-Cap Reference Grade Teflon capacitors allows for unsurpassed detail, transparency and resolution while maintaining the seductive midrange true music lovers lust for.

The use of two complete independent vacuum tube, choke filtered power supplies and analog circuits allows for greater separation of individual instruments, impressive expansion of the soundstage and greater ability to "hold together" in loud passages offering a more effortless sound with new found stability and "locked in" stereo imaging.

The dual mono analog circuits are built on 1/4" Birch Ply board eliminating any circuit board traces. A separate board is used for each channel. The non-remote purist design is equipped with a high quality Grayhill source sector and Noble volume control with a DACT attenuator available as an option. There are remote options available which are described below. Handling the AC duties is a new version of our long time popular RAM Standard AC cord equipped with a high grade Speak-On "Power Con" connector for a trouble free secure connection. A cryogenic tread silver IEC unit is available for those not wanting to give up their high end power cords.

About the remote:

Used in the Musica Bella preamplifiers is a remote controlled shunt stepped attenuator that does not use noisy motors or dozens of relays. Running off it's own dedicated regulated DC power supply means a trouble and noise free operation that does not interfere with the music signal. A "shunt" attenuator design with the control circuitry located in the ground leg so only a single Dale/Vishay resistor is found in the actual signal path. An optional panel mounted LED numeric display for volume level indication is available as well as manual push button volume control just in case your remote batteries die in the middle of your listening session.
