▪  The Musica Bella Perfetto preamplifier is a custom built, custom ordered product only. Each unit is custom built by hand and individually tested assuring you receive a product that will provide you with trouble free service for many years. Like any of our Musica Bella or Bella EXtreme products, the Perfetto preamplifier is custom designed and built one unit at a time. You decide how your preamplifier will look and what features it will have. Many wood options are available. Response Audio is now offering full hardwood enclosures for the Perfetto linestage. Design Philosophy: The Musica Bella Perfetto is a vacuum tube linestage utilizing an external dual mono power supply and is voiced to offer a full, fast and accurate reproduction of the entire frequency range with just the right amount of body and warmth. Bass is deep, tight and authoritative. A clean, crisp yet lively midrange with an uncanny sense of air up top brings emotion back to your listening experience. The use of top quality Mundorf Silver/Oil capacitors allows for unsurpassed detail, transparency and resolution while maintaining the seductive midrange true music lovers lust for. The use of two complete independent vacuum tube, choke filtered power supplies and analog circuits located in separate chassis allows for greater separation of individual instruments, impressive expansion of the soundstage and greater ability to "hold together" in loud passages offering a more effortless sound with new found stability and "locked in" stereo imaging. The dual mono analog circuit is built on a custom 1/4" Birch Ply board eliminating any circuit board traces.  The non-remote purist design is equipped with a high quality source selector attenuator volume control. There are remote options available.  A cryogenic tread silver IEC unit and and twin cryogenic tread silver fuse holders are also standard on the Perfetto. MBX Power Supply After our Musicale linestage and phono preamps were developed, we still had loyal customers that wanted us to take the next step and come up with an external power supply for these products. The MBX is an outboard, 100% dual-mono power supply. Combining dual rectification and all tube voltage regulation stages along with removing the power supply from the main chassis took the sound of the Musicale preamplifiers to another level of performance. Only high quality poly film capacitors are used for the Perfetto's main filter section with additional appearances from the highly praised Mundorf Silver/Oil line of capacitors. Four tubes are used in the MBX Power Supply. A pair ECL82 for voltage regulation and a pair of 6X5 for rectification  making this power supply a true dual mono design. The MBX Power Supply is housed in a matching chassis that is styled to match the Perfetto's main chassis. Connecting the MBX Power Supply to the Perfetto's analog chassis is a custom 3 foot umbilical cord. Chassis & Finishes: The unit shown above was assembled in a metal chassis with face plates done in Waterfall Bubinga  real wood veneer over Bubinga hardwood. Other options include but are not limited to  Walnut Burl over Black Walnut hardwood & Elm Burl over Black Walnut hardwood. Chassis options include: 1) Laminated Baltic Birch plywood (1" total thickness) with you choice of real wood veneer. 2) Solid 3/4" hardwood enclosure with 1/2" Baltic Birch top plate with matching or contrasting veneer. 3) Steel chassis with your choice of front panels (as shown above) 4) A combination of the above. You can have the power supply built in a standard, no frills enclose with the analog circuit built into a more elaborate design. Details: (4) sets of RCA line inputs (2) sets of RCA main outputs. Custom Hardwood enclosures What we are showing here is the base cabinet that can be used for the Musica Bella Perfetto chassis. Solid hardwood with steel sub enclosure. Shown here is an enclosure done in solid 3/4" Bubinga with Waterfall Bubinga veneer finished in Antique Oil. Six 1" holes holes are drilled and located in a manner that will allow for sufficient ventilation in the power supply chassis. The pictures shown on this page are base unit prior to any control or ventilation holes being drilled. Pricing for solid hardwood enclosures will start at $1,100 for BOTH chassis. Veneers and two-tone designs will be additional and priced accordingly.
