Carefully designed
to deliver a well-balanced musical presentation and
long-term listening pleasure, the Bella EXtreme 100
monobloc amplifiers combine the finest sonic attributes of
classic tube amplification (midrange accuracy, smooth tonal
character, and smooth yet extended high-frequency
resolution) to enhance the listener’s emotional involvement
with the music.
As with all
Response Audio products, the Bella Extreme 100 amplifiers utilize a
unique circuit design that demonstrates our beliefs in using
premium parts, shorter signal paths, top notch build
quality. Every pair of Bella EXtreme 100 monobloc
amplifiers are proudly hand-made in the USA and carefully
tested, inspected, and packaged before being sent to you for
your listening enjoyment.
Over 3 years of
research and development has gone into this product with a
goal of becoming a true reference product. The Bella EXtreme
100's are providing you with 100 watts pentode and 60 watts
in triode of glorious 6550/KT88 tube power which will drive
most loudspeakers with grace and ease.
The
craftsmanship is absolutely first rate, featuring hand built
point-to-point wiring right here in our New York facility.
Don't mistake
this for yet another mass produced, off the shelf product.
As you can see in our construction details, we use some of
the finest passive components available in the industry to
assemble these products. Only the highest grade V-Cap and
SoniCap Teflon capacitors are used in both the coupling and
power supply bypass locations. A combination of Mills
non-inductive and Dale Vishay 1% resistors are also chosen
for critical areas. We use resistors with a wattage rating
that is 2x to 5x higher than required to provide the
quietest presentation with the lowest noise floor.
All components
and construction was chosen for it's sonic integrity rather
than designing for a price point.
Our attention
to detail and the quality of construction within the EXtreme
100 amplifiers is every bit as detailed and thorough as any
Response Audio product to leave our facility and possibly
among the best in the industry. When matched with the right
associated equipment, these amplifiers become and
exceptional choice for even the most discriminating
listeners.

manufacturing guru Robert Lee of Acoustic Zen bought a pair
of Bella 100's after showing his new Adagio loudspeakers
with them at Rocky Mountain Audio Fest 2006.
Don't need 100
watts of power? Not a problem. With just the flick of a
switch, you can have 60 watts of sweet triode sound driving
your speakers.
TRIODE VS PENTODE:
Some say Triode is the ‘BEST’ way to listen to tubes.
Although the output decreases, usually 40%-50%, the
bandwidth increases, the distortion decreases,
and damping factor increases as compared to PENTODE
operation. What sounds best? Let your ears decide.
