Purity Silver Statement

The Purity Silver Statement dual mono balanced linestage is a  result of years of intensive research directed at attaining the most accurate reproduction of recorded music.  Unique topology and application of the most advanced technological resources and processes bring the Purity Silver Statement to a threshold of excellence in sound reproduction.

What do the PSS Enhancement entail? The PSS enhancements bring to the table Silver Bybee Purifiers at both the input and output signal paths (optional). Bybee Purifiers (optional) are also found in each of the two power supplies prior to the rectification circuit for the ultimate in residual noise filtering. TC-Silver tube sockets and a silver plated wired power supply, including filament circuitry, and umbilical connection cord are also found in the PSS enhancements. The Silver Statement is also equipped with Cryogenic Treated Silver audiophile fuses.

To add to it's main features, the Purity Silver Statement utilizes transformer coupling at both the input and output. Full silver transformers used at the output. Transformer coupling output results in a low output impedance making for better integration with any type of amplifier. Highest quality acrylic encapsulated "Purity Caps" with Teflon bypass are used in the final stage of the circuit. Extraordinary transparency of perceived sound which in turn assures the recreation of a three dimensional soundstage.

A distinctive feature of the Purity Silver Statement setting it apart from it's competition are its full dual mono power supplies found in a separate chamber located in an outboard chassis. Our power supplies are choke filtered and use only poly filter capacitors. Further noise filtering is done via the installation of Bybee Purifiers prior to the rectification stage.

Extensive research, testing and listening led us to a unique, innovative design that achieves very low distortion and wide bandwidth without the need for negative feedback which destroys transient purity.

The full function remote handles volume, mute, balance, source select and phase inversion. A very precise autoformer attenuation provides 1dB increments providing you with the full spectrum of the music at even the lowest listening volume.

About line-level transformers

For many years, people have expressed concerns about multiple transformers being used in the signal path of audio components. At one time in history, this was an honest concern. Older designs and newer less expensive designs are not to be compared with today's better designs.

What makes our transformers so good?

1) Very expensive high-percentage-Nickel alloy cores. Most commercial grade transformers uses in much of today's high end audio components use low-carbon steel or silicon steel. While these are more affordable, they have a lot of hysteresis as demonstrated by their fat BH loops. Nickel, on the other hand has a desirably narrow BH loop. It's simply a much better sore material.

2) Larger core size compared to the power handling needed. The power levels seen at line-level would normally require only a small core. However, very low frequencies at high levels demand big cores to avoid the response roll-off and distortion of saturation. In order to handle deep bass at high levels without complaint, these transformers are bigger than would otherwise be indicated.

4) Nearly perfect group delay and hence excellent phase response in the audio band.

In the end, our choice in transformer design and materials allows the Silver Statement to be free of the ill effects commonly associated with lesser quality pieces. Distortion, saturation, phase shifts and roll-off at frequency extremes are not a concern.
